What the New York Regents Examination in English Language Arts looks like

The Regents Examination in English Language Arts has three parts: Part 1 — reading comprehension on three passages (literary, informational, and poetry or drama) with 24 multiple-choice questions; Part 2 — an argumentative essay based on four source texts; Part 3 — a text-analysis response on a single passage. The test is administered in a single session with a 180-minute limit.

Aligned to the Regents framework

Every practice question in this book cites the specific Regents framework / NGLS standard it targets in the answer-explanation section, so you can trace performance back to the exact framework element that needs work before the real exam.
